My favorite coffee shops in Paris

Though there is no shortage of wine, bread, or butter in Paris, finding a good espresso in the city of lights that meets my standard after living in London for a few months always takes a bit of extra research. This guide is specifically for the self-proclaimed coffee nerds, who – when they order a flat white – have especially discerning tastes. Those who when they receive a latte or cappuccino camouflaged under the name “flat white” know that their disappointment is justified. I hear you and I see you, and hope that these recommendations will meet your expectations. See them all on a map here.
